I just got all of my household goods back from the move....holy crap I don't remember owning this much, well crap!

Feeling just a whee bit overwhelmed, so I'm finishing breakfast before I start poking my nose into any of the boxes. Mmmm almond milk...tasty.

Hallooooo~! I am in fact, finally moved to the little hole-in-the-wall town my job sent me to. All I have to say is that was perhaps the WORST move I've ever experienced.

Oh you'd like to know why?
1)Had to wait until last minute to get things packed as my moved wasn't confirmed until two weeks prior to the move date.
2)Had a housemate go batshit crazy on me and 'asked' me to leave the place I was staying at three days PRIOR to me leaving town - and to take the cat with me (there had originally been an agreement that Nyah could stay with them so as to not be too traumatized from the movers...well moving around and not accidentally end up underfoot. Why did it happen? I had a friend of mine spend the night - in my room away from this person whom the don't like for petty and unfounded reasons (none of which that I've heard have been 'real' complaints either). (They've since appologize to
3)Got a speeding ticket within less that 20 minutes of my new town. Due to me not knowing what the speed was as my speedometer was covered with the directions I was trying to read so I wouldn't get hopelessly lost.
4)Right after going by my new office for the first time I found out I locked myself out of my car. Joy. I ended up having to go from one end of the street to the complete other as they have closed security.
5)And to top the fucking cake - when I attempt to get my stuff from the packing company, yeaaa. Apparently they won't be able to deliver it to me until 3December. WTF man...I'm lucky to have two jackets and two sweaters - outside of that I have no winter wear D:

Thankfully I've got some spare cash I can use to get some essentials yessh, oh well things can only get better from here really...



Wha, here's to hoping that now I'm actually moved I'll be around here more often. yar...

I'm not dead, just been busy with work and upgrade training. Should hopefully finish the short part of training this week, just need to study a bit more.

What a long strange week - no idea why it's dragging so horridly....

But the defining moment of this week? The haircut I gave myself on Sunday. Why is a haircut so interesting?

When it gets f'ed up, that's when.

Imagine this - I'm working with the electric cutter and suddenly *BZZZZT* it slipped and freakin buzzed the back of my head in a way that could not be fixed. I would have cried if it wasn't that I knew I needed clear eyes to at least even things out. I was royally screwed though - having most of the back side of your head buzzed is anything BUT a conservative hairdo. Insert spaz moment seeing as it's 5pm and there is nothing I can do about this at all.

I ended up calling my supervisor and telling him the whole ordeal. I had to send him a picture of it and managed a leave day to do something about it on Monday. The only way to solve such a problem is to cover it up....so now I'm stuck wearing a wig to work until it grows out to an appropriate length. I'll get pics of the messed up do I ended up with and the wig soon, but the best way to describe it to you is to say it's a natural looking red-head version of Velma's (from Scooby Doo - and not my words either) hair cut with a bit more length on the sides. So far only one person knew right off that I was wearing a wig - but she had an unfair advantage seeing as her brother is a cross dresser XD . The worst I got was someone teasing me about the style looking like the I should be in the '50s wearing a poodle shirt - I killed the jest with a comment saying I'd rather be a greaser...cause then at least I can wear pants :3

Outside of that it's been rather dull - but that's a good thing I think, a fucked up 'do is all the excitement I really need right now.

And then it remembers some of the random art ideas. So right now I've got little doodles of a Chewbacca paper doll and accessories. *snort* Yea I'm a dork but I don't really care, it amuses me so.

One of these days I might actually get around to fleshing the idea to real product...if I get past work and spats of laziness. :P

I don't know the model's name or the real mom's either - Veteran I think.

In short, its super retarded. The only reason people are going all crazy about the model stepmom saying she feels like the kids are 100% hers, so what?! At least she's providing some sort of care to them instead of trying to alienate them...thusly I hate you Hollywood media, quitely so.

I'll find a news link once I get home and not on the phone.

Feeling like yuck still - going to lay back down for a while, eat - maybe nap again and then go get gas in Erik as I'm on 'E'
